PARENT COMMUNITY & SUPPORT
At The Harbor Academy, we recognize that parents and guardians play a vital role in a student’s high school journey, providing the support, encouragement, and guidance needed for success. We believe that family involvement enhances student engagement, motivation, and overall well-being, which is why we strive to create a welcoming community for parents as well. Through resources, communication, and opportunities to connect, we ensure that families feel supported and empowered to engage meaningfully in their child’s education. Whether through parent networks, school updates, or guidance on how to navigate virtual learning, we are committed to providing families with the tools they need to support their student’s growth while building their own sense of connection within our school community.
Parent Nights
Parent Nights are monthly virtual gatherings where parents and guardians can connect with some of our school faculty, engage with other families, and build a supportive community.
These optional online meetings serve as a virtual open house, sometimes featuring informational sessions on key topics, while also providing space for open discussion and relationship-building.
By fostering connections among parents, we help create a stronger support system, ensuring families feel informed, engaged, and empowered throughout their student’s high school journey.
